Skeppshult was founded 1906. Charles E. Andersson who had just come home from North America, brought along with him a large portion of both dreams and knowledge. Here in Skeppshult, just beside the riverlet Nissan, he would start a foundry. Since then a lot has happened, but at the same time a lot remains the same. The knowledge, the craftsmanship and values are all the same - genuine, functional and everlasting. Skeppshult's Foundry is the only remaining foundry in Scandinavia which manufactures household products in cast iron. Many phases in the manufacturing are still pure craftsmanship and dependent upon great professional skill. Our broad range of quality products is much appreciated by both skilled workers as the average person wanting to brighten up their kitchen alike.
